The Challenge
Starting from absolute zero
When I joined LG Alaksa, the company had no social media presence, no website, no brand identity — not even a logo. The challenge was not just technical; it was building an entire digital ecosystem from scratch for a physical retail business in a competitive market.
In the early days, I wore every hat: developer, graphic designer, video producer, social media manager, and customer service. The workload was intense, but the opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up was exactly the kind of challenge I wanted.
The Journey
How it all unfolded
Phase 1 — Foundation
Brand Identity & Social Channels
Designed the complete visual identity — logo, color system, typography, and brand guidelines — then created and launched all social media channels. Built the first version of the company website simultaneously, handling every task solo.
Phase 2 — Growth
Team Expansion & New E-Commerce
As the brand grew, we expanded to a team of three. Launched a richer, faster second-generation e-commerce store with improved UX, product pages, and checkout flow tailored to the Iraqi market.
Phase 3 — Scale
Digital Catalogs, YouTube & Meta Blueprint
Automated product catalog generation covering all LG device lines with full Arabic descriptions. Launched a YouTube channel with installation and tutorial videos. Completed the Meta Blueprint certification, which enabled laser-targeted ad campaigns achieving a cost-per-message as low as $0.08.
Phase 4 — Automation
AI Chatbot & Mobile App
Designed and deployed an AI-powered chatbot to handle customer inquiries automatically at scale — directly enabled by the Meta Blueprint ad efficiency learnings. Developed and published the LG Alaksa mobile app on both Android and Apple App Store with full store integration.
Phase 5 — Achievement
Second Branch, Promotion & Middle East Award
The cumulative impact of five years of work: promoted to Marketing & Development Manager, opened a second flagship branch spanning 600m² across two floors, and won Best LG Sales in the Middle East for 2022 — placing Alaksa among the top LG authorized dealers in the entire region.
